This is a small shop that has pints and quarts of homemade soup to go. Many varieties of soup and even bone broths! There are also some fresh baked goods.
The store gives a quaint relaxed feel. It was my first visit and I was welcomed right away. The lady was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
The soup was very good. I found the price to be reasonable. I will definitely visit again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan A.Edinboro, PA013053Nov 20, 2021
We were in westfield, NY for lunch and what turned into the local annual hot toddy tour. This was a fun event the town has every year to get people out to local businesses. The wooden spoon is tucked around the corner off the main street and they were listed as closed on google except for today they were open.
It's a small little store but they sell soups and salads. The mushroom and lentil soup is so good. There are a ton of lentils and mushrooms but it's still soup and not mush. If we are ever back in westfield we will be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elizabeth W.Pittsburgh, PA76111Sep 28, 2022
stumbled on this little shop on a rainy day and the soup did not disappoint! all she had left after a busy weekend was chicken and rice and it was delicious. owner also carries products from other small/women owned businesses. we were happy to support and loved the soup!

This is a great lunch stop. Fresh food and friendly owner. She has a case with small salad and fresh baked goods. It's a few minutes off I90 but really worth it.

The Wooden Spoon is a cozy smalltown soup shop run by a young local mother who makes delicious fresh soups and breads on a daily basis, Monday through Friday usually 11-5 p.m. Each week she posts a schedule of soups and each morning she posts her daily hot selection on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/thewestfieldwoodenspoon/). The shop also has soups available for sale in their refrigerator and freezer, and occasionally some side salads. I stop by once a week and stock up on a few soups, including a hot one for lunch! If you time it right, she may just be pulling bread from the oven. Definitely recommend.
