Northwest Arena

Located across from the National Comedy Center, named “one of the best museums in the country” by Condé Nast Traveler, the Northwest Arena in Jamestown, NY, is the heart of the city’s indoor activity throughout the year. A 35,000 square foot multiuse facility with dual National Hockey League size ice pads, arena seating, a walking track, meeting space, café and lounge, the Northwest Arena attracts more than 250,000 visitors annually for numerous events including performances by top-name comedians during the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. CONFERENCES, EXHIBITIONS, AND PERFORMANCES As a premier facility in a small city that attracts visitors from around the world, the Northwest Arena offers a unique venue for multiday conferences with 17,000 square feet of exhibit space. The spacious facility seats up to 3,000 for concerts and 2,000 for sporting events and is centrally located to take advantage of area restaurants, cultural attractions and accommodations. CORPORATE EVENTS AND PRIVATE PARTIES Groups from 10 to 180 can rent the facility for a single hour to a full day and take advantage of multiple recreational, team-building or corporate training activities for skaters and non-skaters alike. Food and beverages can be ordered in advance from the café and Sully’s lounge. Outside caterers are also permitted. Popular for more formal events, meetings and small performances, the Arena Club on the top level of the facility has a two-tier floor plan and overlooks the larger of the two rinks. It is equipped with a bar, stage, sound, and lighting and can be configured to accommodate up to 220 people with table seating, 250 people standing, or 150 people with theater seating on the stage level. While birthday parties are the most popular type of rental, the Northwest Arena has hosted numerous graduation parties, reunions, and weddings. Nonprofit organizations, local businesses, sports teams, and performers have also utilized the arena’s spaces in interactive and creative ways.
